What did I learn from the animatic?
There are many things we have learnt from creating the animatic which differs from the original storyboard. We had to change and add a number of different elements in order for it to work.
We realised that our storyboard duration shots were too long and as a result we had to move things around. Therefore when we added the music on top of the storyboard, we realised we had to add more shots so we could cut the shot down in order to make it more exciting and enable us to change the shot in time to the beat. We also realised we need to add a wider variety of shoots, we added more close ups, medium close ups, long shots and extreme long shots. This would also enable the tempo and pace of the music video to increase.
